🎯 How to Win

Collect 3 Prize Cards by knocking out opponent Spirits!

Each time you knock out an opponent's Active Spirit, you collect 1 Prize Card. First player to collect all 3 wins!

🎴 Your Turn Structure

1. Draw: Draw 1 card (automatic)
2. Energy: Attach 1 Energy card (optional)
3. Play: Play Basic Spirits to Bench
4. Attack: Attack with Usage Strike OR Retreat
5. End: Click "End Turn" button

🗺️ Game Zones

• Active Zone: Your main fighter (must always have a Spirit here)
• Bench: Backup Spirits (max 3). Promote when Active faints
• Prizes: Collect all 3 to win (1 per KO)
• Hand: Cards you can play this turn
• Deck: Draw 1 card per turn. Empty deck = you lose!
• Discard: Knocked out Spirits and used cards

⚡ Energy System

Attach 1 Energy per turn to power attacks.

Energy cards attach to your Active Spirit. Each attack requires specific energy types. Match the energy symbols to use powerful attacks!

🎤 Usage Strike

To attack, you must read the phonics word aloud!

This is the core mechanic: practicing phonics while playing. Say the word clearly, then click "I Said It!" to deal damage.

💥 Knocking Out Spirits

When a Spirit's HP reaches 0, it's knocked out.

The attacker collects 1 Prize Card. The player who lost their Spirit must promote a Bench Spirit to Active. If they have no Bench Spirits, they lose the game!
